Summary

The role is to manage a security guard force for an upgrade to a National Grid substation, part of the UK’s CNI (Critical National Infrastructure). Candidate will be expected to attend weekly site meetings to ascertain site progress and enhancements to security requirements. Will also assist with site training, inductions (courses will be provided), logistical support and waste management. Site duration is 2 years from 4^th January 2010 but several sites are starting within the SE every year – future prospect of Area manager to the right candidate.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities	Strategic Operational Management
	- Manage and maintain the Security Guard Force on site. - Liaise between Security Company and client at Board Level. - Brief on potential threats to individuals at the site. - Ensure the smooth running of the site both Operationally and administratively.
Objectives and Deliverables	Strategic Operational Management
	- To achieve the successful security management of the Client project as defined in the main contract - Successfully prioritise, coordinate and deliver the key responsibilities as required in this job Description
