Summary
The role is to provide overarching executive supervision to all client project managers and business ventures in Mauritania, provide strategic support to current clients, proactively pursue new business opportunities and maintain strong reporting and communication links to the client (UK). The specification of the position will be in (but not limited to) the following areas:
1. The overall, proactive executive supervision to client project managers in Mauritania. To provide strategic oversight, liaison and quality assurance of the client projects; maintain the high level of project professional standards
2. To strategically manage emerging client business ventures in Mauritania
3. To proactively pursue new business opportunities in Mauritania
4. Provide strategic security liaison with current senior Client Management
5. Gather, analyse and disseminate strategic information and intelligence to drive all security operations
6. Liaison with foreign embassies and business leaders in and around the Nouakchott area
7. Liaison with any senior level Mauritanian military, customs or police units that may become involved in HRL areas of operation
8. Coordination of country-wide phased evacuation plans and response to kidnap
9. Security and Intelligence coordination and dissemination to all HRL Security assets in Mauritania
10. Provide weekly and monthly security reports to client (UK)

The overall, proactive executive supervision to client project managers in Mauritania. To provide strategic oversight, liaison and quality assurance of the client projects; maintain the high level of project professional standards. - Effective line management of all client project managers - Ensure quality of client services - Insist on high professional standards for projects - Effective management of finances (as per client SOPs)
To strategically manage emerging client business ventures in Mauritania - Ability to conduct basic due diligence (operational, financial) on emerging business opportunities Provide strategic security liaison with current senior Client Management. - Be prepared to present verbally, electronically or via audio-visual presentations - Be prepared to offer (and if required delegate to project managers) solutions to current or potential security failings or react effectively to intelligence garnered
Gather, analyse and disseminate strategic information and intelligence to drive all security operations. Liaison with foreign embassies and business leaders in and around the Nouakchott area. - Be prepared to develop strategic relationships and liaise with various agencies (Foreign Embassies and local HRL Security / Business Partners in NKT) in order to build up the intelligence network and picture - Be prepared to develop strategic sources and gather HUMINT - Conduct basic pattern and threat analysis on intelligence gathered - Disseminate info / int in a timely fashion and to the correct level using the appropriate medium depending on sensitivity (verbal, written, electronic or secure means)
Liaison with any senior level Mauritanian military, customs or police units that may become involved in client areas of operation - Establish a good strategic relationship with military, customs and Gendarmerie Commanders
Coordination of country-wide phased evacuation plans and response to kidnap. - Coordinate and develop the client SOP’s for evacuation and response to kidnap - Coordinate dissemination of these SOP’s once completed - Ensure a bi-annual desk-top drill is carried out to exercise project managers / client Global Ops Room
Provide weekly and monthly security reports to Client and client (UK). - Reports to be accurate, professional and concise on established client templates - Weekly reports to be submitted every Monday, with objectives from the previous week (complete, ongoing, stalled) and the forthcoming weeks objectives - Monthly reports within 5 days after end of month |

Technical Requirements
Experience
Ability to gather and perform basic analysis on intelligence to drive security operations is essential.
